Introducing the Steeltown Field Boot. Built tough in small batches right here on Canadian soil using full grain leather, premium hardware, VIBRAM® soles, braided taslan laces and heritage construction techniques.
Your Field boots will take whatever you throw you at them. That's why we include photos of a used pair that's been used and abused. We're that confident that you'll love how they age. The used pair in the photos have been worn daily for eight months, worn on regular motorcycle rides and have not been treated or cleaned at all.

Crafted in collaboration with Canada West Boots, a premium footwear manufacturer that has been based in Winnipeg, Manitoba since 1978, your Steeltown Field Boot is a rugged, heritage-style workwear boot designed specifically to withstand the abuses of post-modern living.
Thanks to the full-grain leather that has been Goodyear welted to a tough-as-nails VIBRAM® lug tread outsole, your Field Boots will easily last you a decade. And when the sole is worn down to the nubs, but the leather upper has reached peak perfection, simply take your Field Boots to a local cobbler and have them resoled to get you another decade of wear.
The full grain tumbled pecan leather comes outta the box with a rich reddish brown glow. But with wear, the leather softens to more of a chocolatey brown. Of course, with leather balm or some mink oil, the original reddish glow can be revived with treatment if desired.
We chose to lace the Steeltown Field Boot with Red Wing's famous Orange & Tan Taslan Laces. Red Wing taslan laces are built using the original taslan construction process to prevent pilling and provide superior durability. The braided laces add a unique heritage look to the Field Boot.
The proprietary VIBRAM® rubber 132 outsole is famous for being the sole that conquered Mt. Everest. With both notched and star lugs, the sole will provide you the aggressive traction you demand from an all-season boot. The SBR compound is a firm rubber that wears down very, very slowly.
BREAK-IN
Your Field Boots also have a cushioned leather in sole for added comfort. And unlike similar unlined heritage-style boots on the market like Iron Rangers and Wolverines, your Steeltown Field Boot will be a breeze to break-in. No blisters. No funny walking for three weeks. No bandaids. Superior comfort right outta the box.
