Thanks for 100,000 orders!!

To the riders, the wrenchers, caffeine fiends, and the glorious, unapologetic misfits of Steeltown.

Let’s get one thing straight right out of the gate. We have never given a damn about corporate milestones. The metric-obsessed, sterile, boardroom bullshit that most companies use to measure their worth—it has never been what we’re about, and it never will be.

When we started this thing, it wasn’t born out of a desperate desire to look at a spreadsheet and pat ourselves on the back for hitting the most recent KPI's. It was born out of necessity. Out of a deep, visceral love of strong coffee, greasy garage floors, the mechanical symphony of a roaring internal combustion engine, and the simple, unadulterated joy of making things for people who actually give a shit.

Steeltown Garage Co. was born in the Rust Belt; a place that doesn't hand you anything for free. You have to earn every inch. And you lot—whether you're right here in our rusted backyard or riding out on some lonely highway thousands of miles away—you carry that exact same unrelenting spirit.

But here we are, staring down the barrel of a milestone anyway.

The folks over at Shopify just sent us a box. Inside it was this shiny, perfectly polished, cute little silver trophy. A plaque. A physical monument to the fact that we—against all statistical probability, common sense, and the general chaos of running an independent brand—have just shipped our one hundred thousandth order.

One hundred thousand.

Say it out aloud and it sounds like a clerical error. It sounds like someone carried a zero too far after a few too many pickle backs. But it’s real. It is one hundred thousand cardboard boxes taped up by hand. One hundred thousand shipping labels slapped onto packages at ungodly hours of the night when normal people are sleeping. It’s a mountain of helmets, a river of coffee, and enough heavy-duty apparel to outfit a small, aggressively stylish rebel army.

This little trinket isn't about us. It isn't about some stroke of entrepreneurial genius or a clever marketing campaign. It’s about you.

It’s about the person in a freezing garage on a Tuesday night wearing our shirt while he busts his knuckles trying to get a stubborn 10mm bolt off his vintage CB550. It’s about every single one of you who decided that what we do, what we make, and what we stand for was worth your hard-earned cash.

You didn't have to choose us. The world is completely saturated with cheap, disposable garbage, mass-produced by soulless conglomerates who wouldn't know the difference between a spark plug and a salt shaker. You could have gone anywhere else. But you came here. You believed in the grit. You believed in the ethos of Steeltown.

We aren't a slick operation. Sometimes we're a chaotic mess of late-night design sessions, panicked inventory counts, and the frantic hustle to get your gear packed and out the door before the post office rolls down its metal shutters. Every single one of those 100,000 orders is a story. It’s a connection.

So, to the outcasts, the speed freaks, the ol' regulars, and the loyal strangers who wear our name on their backs: thank you.

Thank you for allowing us to do the work we love, on our own terms, without a single ounce of compromise.

Ride safe out there,

Jeff

Founder, Steeltown Garage Co.
